Party with the Fishes
The Florida Aquarium welcomes children ages 1-12 to have a fin-tastic birthday celebration with us! With four unique party spaces to choose from a birthday at the Aquarium is sure to make a splash!
Birthday parties are held on Saturdays and Sundays.
All parties include:
- A private party space
- Aquarium party host
- Visit from one of the Aquarium’s animal ambassadors
- Delicious cake from Publix
- Water and lemonade
- Special gift for the birthday child
- Digital party invitation
- Aquatic-themed decorations
- Party supplies (cups, napkins, plates, forks, candles)
- Admission to the Aquarium for all guests

Party Room Options
Open Ocean Room (Indoor) has a maximum capacity of 30 people
Coastal Room (Indoor) has a maximum capacity of 30 people.
Green Room (Indoor) has a maximum capacity of 30 people.
Backyard Room (Indoor) has a maximum capacity of 20 people. Note: The Backyard Room is designed for parties with the majority of guests being ages 1-5 due to toddler-sized tables.
Parties with 31 – 60 guests will be in both the Coastal Room and Green Room.

You may choose your main activity. All activities include a mini-tour of the Aquarium.

Animals have unique skills we can only dream of having! Put your skills and knowledge to the test and see how animals compare in different creature challenges.

Discover the wacky world of science and channel your inner mad scientist with exciting and interactive science experiments.

Let’s Shell-brate
Let’s shell-ebrate and splash into the world of turtles! Look at different turtles from around the world and even create your own monster turtle!

Totally Jaw-some
Dive in and discover that there is more to sharks than their teeth as we look at shark jaws and play a totally jaw-some game.

Add-On: Meet Tango or Rocky
A costume character meet and greet.

Meet a second animal during your animal encounter.

Food & Beverage
No outside food is permitted. Water, lemonade and a sheet cake from Publix are included in each party package. Additional food and beverage can be added and must be ordered and paid in full 10 days prior to your party.
You may bring in your own cake; however, no discount will be applied to the party package price. An additional $20 cake handling fee will be added to your reservation.
Leftover food and beverage may not be taken home (with the exception of the Publix cake).

Decorations
Aquatic-themed decorations including centerpieces, tablecloths and cake display are provided.
To ensure the safety of our animals and in alignment with our mission of conservation, The Florida Aquarium does not allow any outside decorations for the party space.
Party families may bring their own paper products (plates, cups, napkins) if they choose.

Booking Requirements
Birthday parties are designed for children ages 1-12. If you are interested in booking an adult birthday party, click here.
Parties must be booked at least 3 weeks in advance. A $150 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of reservation.
Final party details and remaining balance are due 10 days prior to the scheduled party.
Additional birthday children can be added for a $50 fee. There is a maximum of three (3) birthday siblings.
Parties cannot exceed the maximum capacity of your party space.
Your guest count must include every adult and child, regardless of age, attending the party. Infants (0-1 years) will not be included in the cost of the party; however, they must be counted toward the capacity of your party space.
