AquaVentures Virtual Programming
We continue our mission to educate and inspire stewardship of the natural environment by offering engaging and innovative virtual STEM programs aligned with Florida’s Standards. If you are unable to visit the Aquarium, we invite you to explore our variety of educational programs for students of all ages.
Virtual Classroom Programs
Sharks are critical to the health of our ocean, but how much do we really know about them? Learn about sharks from the inside out! All of your shark-related questions can be submitted via the chat option.
Grade Levels: 3 and up
Duration: 30 minutes

There is a large, dangerous species living in Florida… and alligators need your help to stay safe from them! During the Gator Safety program, students will meet a live alligator and learn how we can co-exist with these amazing and important reptiles.

Learn about these mysterious creatures that travel the world’s oceans! Take a dive into their ocean habitat to learn about the challenges they face and how you can help.

Meet a variety of The Florida Aquarium’s animal ambassadors in this informal education program. This program is a great option for large groups or groups with a wide age range. A variety of terrestrial creatures will make an appearance!

Discover the inner and outer workings of an amazing aquatic creature! Join a knowledgeable instructor for a guided look inside a squid.

Complete the virtual program request form and provide the topic or theme of your choice. Please provide notice at least one (1) full month in advance for us to develop a program that fits your needs.

Virtual Guided Tours
Join an instructor on a guided tour of the Wetlands of Florida and Shorelines habitats. See how many different birds, reptiles, and fishes you can find. Questions about the animals and habitats can be submitted via the chat option.

Join an instructor on a guided tour of the Coral Reef and Waves of Wonder galleries. See how many different species of fishes and invertebrates you can spot. Questions about the animals and habitats can be submitted via the chat option.
