Keep Beads Out of the Bay

Join The Florida Aquarium in supporting a greener Gasparilla and help us keep beads out of the Bay. Revelers can drop off their collected beads at the Aquarium, helping to protect marine life and local waterways.

As part of The City of Tampa’s Bead-Free Bay initiative, The Florida Aquarium is offering 50% off up to four (4) general admission tickets per group when you drop your beads off at the Aquarium. This promotion runs from January 18 through February 16, 2025—spanning the Children’s Gasparilla Parade through the Knight Parade.

All beads collected will be donated to the MacDonald Training Center, who will clean and repackage for resale for future use. Funds raised support the Center’s mission of transforming the lives of people with disabilities through vocational training, employment pathways, residential supports and life enrichment opportunities.

Please note: Beads can be dropped off during standard Aquarium operating hours. This discount is not valid with other discounts, coupons, special events, add-on programs or combination tickets.
