Enjoy an evening of exclusive access to The Florida Aquarium. From our rooftop overlooking Tampa Bay and the city skyline to the indoor wetlands trail under our iconic glass dome, the entirety of our guest experience will be quite the experience for your guests! And all while enjoying a customized menu crafted to your taste and budget.
Coral Reef Gallery
Capacity | 50-200
This immersive experience is perfect for a seated dinner for 100 or a cocktail reception for 200. Our awe-inspiring and iconic Coral Reef habitat provides a floor-to-ceiling underwater view featuring colorful fish, eels, sand tiger sharks, stingrays and more. Your guests will also enjoy our Heart of the Sea habitat where you’ll find a loggerhead sea turtle and bonnet head sharks swimming among coral trees.
Rooftop Terrace

Our rooftop terrace offers a stunning view of downtown and the Port of Tampa. This covered pavilion provides a beautiful and versatile setting for any event. With unobtrusive state-of-the-art solar panels, your event space also helps provide clean energy in our community.
Vinik Channelside Room
Capacity | 25-100
For smaller corporate gatherings or daytime team-building events, look no further than our Vinik Channelside rooms. These spaces feature floor-to-ceiling views of downtown Tampa, the new Water Street Development and Sparkman Channel. This space can also be divided into two smaller rooms for break-out functions and meetings. Each room is equipped with built-in audio visual (AV) including screens, overhead projectors and sound.
Outdoor Plaza
Capacity | Up to 500
Enjoy an event on the Aquarium’s outdoor plaza, located wharf-side. With a number of amenities, this space is perfect for everything from a casual family or corporate event to a formal reception. Features include the TECO Overlook Deck for seated dinners or strolling cocktail receptions and The Cove, a circular bar where guests can mingle during a reception. And, of course, there’s the view!
Bay Spirit II
Capacity | Up to 120
Get out on the waters of Tampa Bay with a private charter on the Bay Spirit II – our 72-foot catamaran. Keep your eyes out for native wildlife including bottlenose dolphins. Departing from The Florida Aquarium’s wharf, the Bay Spirit II is available for daytime and sunset cruises. The boat features a first–floor, climate-controlled cabin with restrooms and bar, as well as a second-floor, open-air deck. Custom menus and décor can be added to elevate the cruise experience.
